Alumni: Christopher Sheehy, 2013 Ph.D., University of Chicago, 2013 Goldhaber Fellow, Brookhaven National Lab Webpage I am a member of the BNL observational cosmology group where I develop instrumentation and data analysis techniques for 21-cm and Cosmic Microwave Background polarization surveys. Most currently, I am leading the BMX experiment, a small prototype 21-cm array we are using to develop DOE expertise in the techniques necessary to carry out a possible future 21-cm dark energy survey. I am also analyzing existing CMB data sets to place upper limits on the allowable complexity of polarized galactic dust foregrounds, the understanding of which is crucial to the inflationary B-mode science component of CMB Stage-IV.
