Alumni: Benedikt Diemer, 2015 Ph.D., University of Chicago, 2015 Post-doctoral research fellow, Institute for Theory and Computation (ITC), Harvard University Webpage I am a post-doctoral research fellow at the Institute for Theory and Computation (ITC), a subdivision of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA) at Harvard University. I specialize in computational astrophysics, meaning that I run and analyze large computer simulations. My primary research interest is in structure formation, the gravitational collapse of matter in the universe into the structures we observe or infer today, such as galaxies and dark matter halos. As a side project, I explore unconventional ways of expressing simulation data as part of an arts and science collaboration called Fabric of the Universe. University Of Chicago' Class Of 2015 Ph.D. Thesis: "On the (non-)universality of halo density profiles"; Scientific Advisor: Andrey V. Kravtsov
