MAROON-X


Instrument Lab

ERC Lab: In the fall of 2015 we moved in to a new high performance lab in the lower level 2 of the William Eckhardt Research Center. We completed the development of a number of the the MAROON-X sub-systems in this space. From left to right in the panorama below one can see a precision alignment station, our Fabry-Perot etalon system, a fiber test station, and a fiber mounting station.



Hinds Lab: We still maintain our original lab in the basement of the Henry Hinds Laboratory for Geophysical Sciences. Currently the lab hosts the environmental control chamber (see picture below) that housed the MAROON-X spectrograph when it was under development.
