About Me

Welcome to my personal website! I am a Scientist in the Fermilab Theory Division, Assistant Professor of Astronomy & Astrophysics at the University of Chicago, and a Senior Member at the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics (KICP)

In 2012 received my PhD at Johns Hopkins University, from 2012-2015 I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, and from 2015-18 I was the David N. Schramm Fellow in the Fermilab Theoretical Astrophysics Department.

Research

My research interests include elementary particle theory, early universe cosmology, baryogenesis, dark matter, neutrino physics, primordial black holes, and physics beyond the Standard Model, broadly defined. I have also proposed new experimental search strategies for dark matter that have become the LDMX, BDX, and Windchime experimental collaborations. I am also a co-spokesperson for BDX. You can find a list of my publications on arXiv, Inspire, and Google Scholar

Teaching

I am currently teaching the Physics of the Dark Universe (Astro 24500) at the University of Chicago. I have also previously taught at the Perimeter Scholars International (PSI) program at the Perimeter Institute (video lectures)
