I am an Associate Professor at
the University of Chicago (Dept. of Astronomy and
Astrophysics and E. Fermi Institute) working on several
aspects of theoretical and computational High-Energy
Astrophysics, at the intersection of Plasma and
Astroparticle Physics.
I received my PhD from the Scuola Normale Superiore di
Pisa (Italy), under the supervision of prof. Pasquale
Blasi (INAF, Arcetri) and prof. Mario Vietri (SNS, Pisa).
Before moving here, I have been a post-doc and a Research
Associate at Princeton University, collaborating with
prof. Anatoly Spitkovsky.
