Stars (continuted)

The sets of 5 stellar images in the right upper corners (or lower corner) should look familiar. The vertical lines in these plots are to help the viewer recognize the stellar absorption lines. You may notice that the hottest stars are not necessarily the brightest. The left axis is the flux, and not the luminosity. The flux depends on both the luminosity (how much energy the star is putting out) and the distance.
