On Thursday March 10, 2011 we had an extra Family Night event. For students who had not already made a Galileoscopes, they spent the early part of the evening assembling a telescope, while students that already made telescopes took them outside to observe the night sky. Once the telescopes were assembled, everybody went to the 24 inch telescope to observe constellations in the clear night sky.
Everyone enjoyed the evening, taking turns observing through the telescope. It was another very successful event and we hope to have many more in the future.
