Two Star Clusters:
Hyades and Pleiades

There are two famous Open Star Clusters in Taurus.  A perfect way to view these clusters is with binoculars.

One is the Pleiades! pleiades.jpg (876 bytes)  The other is the Hyades

The Hyades are the stars in the V shape of the Bull's face (except for Aldebaran, tau_eye.jpg (4951 bytes) the eye of the bull). The Pleiades star cluster is in the bull's shoulder.
