SS Cygni

SS Cyg and Comparison Stars

HOU  Yerkes 24 inch Telescope, Apogee AP&p CCD, V filter, June 1st, 2002.

The telescope images are oriented North up and East to the left.

Suggestion:  Use Data Tools, Aperture. Options: Radius 10, Sky Radius 20.  Choose Aperture each time and then click over the comparison stars to get brightness counts.

Here is a blank chart so you can gather your own data. 

AAVSO Comparsion Finder Chart.  The chart is not the same orientation as the image. 

The finder chart is oriented South up and West  to the left.
