SN 2002ap coordinates are RA: 01:36:24, Dec +15:45.2

Download these images in .fts format for analysis with HOU-IP software.  Open up both images.  Click on m74sw_010808.fts.  Go to Manipulation, Subtract, Displayed Image, select m74sw_sn020213.fts, choose Display result in new window. Look here for result!

Yerkes 24 inch images of SN 2002ap are centered on the star pattern to the southwest of the galaxy.  

This telescope is a Boller & Chivens F/13.5.  We are using the Apogee CCD Ap7p, which has 24 micron pixels.   This CCD was funded by the Illinois State Board of Education for the Near and Far Sciences for Illinois (NFSI) project.  The scale on the .fts images is approximately 0.62 arcseconds/pixel.
