The staff of Explore Scientific, makers of high-quality telescopes, binoculars, eyepieces, microscopes and observing accessories, will demonstrate and offer products for sale at Yerkes Observatory May 26, 27 and 28. This is a rare and outstanding opportunity to see and use amateur telescopes and accessories in an expert environment. Everyone will be able to ask lots of questions and get great advice on purchasing a telescope and accessories for you and your family! See and learn about the latest backyard astronomy equipment during the day. Each evening, visitors will be able to observe with Explore Scientific equipment under the dark skies at Yerkes (weather permitting). The schedule is:

Each day, 11:00 am to 5:30 pm: Demonstrations of Explore Scientific astronomy related products including telescopes, eyepieces, mounts and accessories for the backyard astronomy enthusiast.

Each evening, 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm: Weather permitting, visitors are encouraged to view through Explore Scientific telescopes and eyepieces.
