Topics in Astronomy Series

Come and learn about the nature of our Universe and all of its mysteries at Yerkes Observatory! We will host a series of lectures on topics in astronomy that are geared towards the general adult and teen public. The first lectures will cover basic laws of physics in nature and the following lectures will incorporate this knowledge to discuss fascinating astronomical phenomena. Karyn Perdue, a senior astronomy major at the University of Colorado-­‐Boulder, will lead the lectures.

  • Admission: Student: $5 per lecture; $25 for series
     Adult: $10 per lecture; $50 for series
