Research

I am interested in astrostatistics—using Bayesian methods, time series analysis, machine learning, and other techniques to maximize the science we can obtain from astronomical data sets, both large and small. Currently, I am working with Jacob Bean on obtaining tight constraints on planet occurrence using Kepler data. Past projects include a Bayesian analysis of the mass distribution of stellar-mass black holes.
