Jacob Bean Awarded the First HST Treasury Program for Exo-planet Observations
Assistant Professor Jacob Bean has been awarded a historic 150 orbits of Hubble Space Telescope (HST) time for observations of exoplanet atmospheres. His team's research program seeks to improve our understanding of the nature and origins of planets through a comprehensive study of the composition, thermal structure, and dynamics of extrasolar planetary atmospheres.
