NASA's Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe
(IMAP),
launching in 2024, will have a
suite of 10 instruments that simultaneously investigate the most
important issues in space physics today - how particles are accelerated
to high energies in space, how the solar wind interacts with the
interstellar medium, and interstellar neutrals and the properties of
processed interstellar material inside of the heliosphere.
