Can we predict sunspot cycles?

The 11-year sunspot cycle is believed to be produced by the MHD dynamo process. I shall summarize our current understanding of the solar dynamo and discuss the question whether solar dynamo models have become realistic enough by now to make predictions of future cycles possible.
