Randy took his GPS receiver to the geographic South Pole today and reported the following coordinates and weather conditions:

The humidity is about .03%. This results in snow that is so try that it crunches as I walk across it.
The wind blows the small particles of the dry snow into the air. The sunlight reflects off these particles makes them look like glitter floating through the air.
The sun is about 23 degrees above the horizon. If you were laying on the ground and looking up, the direction of the sun would be in a clockwise direction. Since it is up day and night, its position in its path around the horizon gives me a clue as to the time of day.
