DECEMBER 8th & 9th, 1997After a long flight originating in Los Angeles, Randy and Janice have arrived in Auckland, New Zealand where they have a brief layover prior to their departure for Christchurch. Although Randy and Janice made it to Auckland, Randy's luggage, with all their experimental gear, did not! More on the fate of the missing luggage tomorrow.According to Randy, their landing in Auckland was spectacular, with water everywhere and small mountains near the airport. Randy reports further that, "It is lush, beautiful, and green. There were tons of dogs and inspectors at the baggage claim. They are worried about agricultural and biological invasions since New Zealand is so isolated."
