AST/RO, VIPER & DASI will remain viable scientific projects beyond CARA

AST/RO

• maintain full complement of receivers
• open to entire community
• proposals completely peer reviewed and ranked
• shift to 100% external membership of time allocation committee

VIPER

• continue with ACBAR; SZ effect and CMB anisotropy and polarization
• large scale Galactic surveys (SPARO, others)
• high frequency complement to DASI

DASI

• upgrade to w-band MMIC receivers (~90 GHz)
• simultaneous full 4-stokes parameters CMB obs.
• Low frequency complement to VIPER
