Center for Astrophysical Research in Antarctica
Labs from Chicago - Fall, 1993.
Here are some of the labs and lesson plans used by instructors during
the Fall Quarter 1993.
Important Disclaimers and
Caveats
This happens to be one of the quarters for which we have lots of labs
on file. There are two nearly complete sets of labs: one on
satellites (taught by Dr. Jim Sweitzer) and
one on energy (taught by Dr. Rich Kron, Dr.
Heidi Newberg, and Luisa Rebull).
For the satellite classes in particular,
technically, some of the classes overlapped into 1994,
through the Yerkes Winter Institute (1993),
but they're all presented here for completeness.
The labs are listed in chronological order.
The satellite classes were part of the CARA Amateur Radio program.
