Agenda Items News from the Pole: C. Kaminski reported that the TEG shut down for the season - out of propane. MAPO heating system fixed and winterovers are staying warm. C. Martin stated that Viper, FTS, AST/RO are all working. Tau was at 1.0 for a time during the past week. FTS - R. Chamberlin commented that he had not seen the data for the last few days. He was hopeful that something interesting had been captured. It would be useful to R. Chamberlin to know what the 350 micron weather has been. R. Chamberlin has been trying to get on the AST/RO computer to view this data and determine what FTS data to check out first. The last data that was reviewed was taken after C. Martin made some changes. This data showed instrument noise not sky noise. Question - has Viper pointing been fixed? Answer - Acbar is running and getting data. Question - to AST/RO on what they have been observing. Answer - 492 GHz CI maps of the galactic center. Liquid Helium Report: Total of 4000 liters available from most recent report. Al has been lowering pressure in the 3000 gallon down to 3 PSI, which should help lower the transfer loss. Noted by R. Chamberlin at 6 PSI Helium has 16% flash loss during trx 3 PSI 8% flash loss R. Chamberlin has tables and source information that he will make available to the group. J. Ruhl stated that we are close to making call to figure all this out. **End of next week telecon with all users to make decision on when to make transfers. REU - R.
