My research has focused upon using astrophysical consequences of the Axion to constrain its' properties and in performing Nuclear Shell Model calculations pertinent to investigations in Cosmology and Fundamental Physics. In the latter area, collaborators and I have performed a number of detailed calculations of the Spin-Dependent Neutralino-Nucleus cross section and structure functions for many of the nuclei used in modern dark matter direct-detection experiments.
