Alumni: Krista Martocci, 2013 Ph.D., University of Chicago, 2013 Data engineer, Namely Webpage I am currently a data engineer at a mid-sized start up called Namely. Their focus is on provided a unified platform for mid-sized companies to track their HR, payroll, and benefits' needs. I started as an engineer on the data imports team, and we were working on building an internal tool that would validate, clean, and import clients' payroll data. I am now working with the data architect on designing and developing an integrated data warehouse for reporting. In my spare time I design and make stained glass pieces - panels, ornaments, and home accessories like coasters or candleholders. I sell my pieces on my etsy.com and at local Queens arts & crafts shows. University Of Chicago' Class Of 2013 Ph.D. Thesis: "Dynamo Action in Taylor Couette Flow"; Scientific Advisor: Fausto Cattaneo
