Great Hercules Globular Cluster

Messier 13 Image

This image was taken through our 10-inch f/6 Newtonian using a Cookbook 245 CCD camera, operating in a high resolution mode of 755x484 pixels. The image is a composite of 30 subimages of 30 seconds each. This makes the total exposure time 900 seconds, or 15 minutes. The processing was done in Iris, and included dark subtraction and DDP(digital development processing).
