<p class="MsoNormal">After our first couple talks of the year, we have news and updates about the Yerkes trip, the dome, and various other projects.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Yerkes Trip:<o:p></o:p></p>

Trip will be November 16th, barring poor weather - Email Champ to request a spot<o:p></o:p></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in">Spots are preferentially assigned to active members of the club, but any excess spaces (we're expecting to send about 15 people) will be filled if there is demand, regardless of membership

We're in the process of figuring out transportation, if you have a car and would like to go, it would be much appreciated if you would drive!<o:p></o:p></li>

The facilities manager has gotten back to us, and will meet with us to see what type of features we would like on the dome!<o:p></o:p></li>

As the dome will be fixed, we should relearn how to operate it<o:p></o:p></li>

This is great news for astrophotography! Start looking into it, if interested<o:p></o:p></li>

<p class="MsoNormal">Perhaps people are interested in building their own telescope? Start looking up plans if this is you, and take the initiative to do it!<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Stay tuned for news on the radio telescope, there should be some more information sent out about that before next meeting.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Next meeting is a joint meeting with the SPS, it's at 6:00, and in KPTC 206. We'll watch some of the Cosmos at the usual meeting time of 9:00.<o:p></o:p></p>
